it was inconveniently located 7 miles away, which felt a bit far for such a nice spread. Overall, the room was clean and well-appointed, though the spa bath was a bit smaller than expected.

the jacuzzi tub in our room was a great way to relax after hiking. the air conditioner was so luod it woke us up at night.

The house is incredibly comfortable, providing excellent air-conditioning during the heat wave. We truly enjoyed the spacious layout accommodating five adults and two kids, making our family vacation enjoyable. The well-equipped kitchen was a highlight, allowing us to cook meals and save for dining out. Also, the lovely garden view added a serene touch to our mornings.

the service here was absolutley lackluster. no hot water on my first morning, and the staff just giggled about it. also, only decaf coffee was available, why would that happen? it's stunning how lack of a proper welcome gift, considering the price I paid, nearly made me reconsider my prior thought of giving a glowing review. just couldn’t do it.

my stay at heathwood inn was really enjoyable! check-in was super easy, and the king suite with balcony was adorable and spotless. they offered complimentary snacks like granola bars and tea, which was a nice touch. overall, it felt cozy and charming, perfect for a last-minute getaway.

I loved the cozy suite with the sauna that made it so relaxing after a long day exploring. The BBQ facilities and garden area were perfect for unwinding in the evenings. Just a heads-up, the air conditioning was a bit loud, but it didn’t ruin my stay at all! 😊

Heathwood Inn had a really lovely atmosphere. The décor felt cozy and charming. Our room, the Evesham Room, offered plenty of light and a comfortable bed that welcomed us after a long day. The steam shower was fantastic for soothing tired muscles. Breakfast was the highlight of our mornings—fresh fruit, blueberry muffins, and unique entrees like raspberry crumb cake kept us energized. Karen, the innkeeper, was super helpful. She provided great tips for local attractions and dining. However, I found it a bit strange that there was no staff presence except for Karen. It felt a bit disconnected at times. Also, while the breakfast options were delicious, I wished they had more variety, especially for guests staying multiple nights. The location is perfect, close to Acadia National Park, but it can be noisy with traffic at night. Overall, I appreciated the charm and comfort but hoped for a bit more personalized service.

I adored the beautiful stained glass window panes in the tub room, adding a charming touch to the decor. The accessibility with easy self-check-in made my stay seamless and the atmosphere was wonderfully peaceful.

The absence of hot water on my first morning was a hassle, and having only decaf coffee when I craved regular was disappointing. Additionally, the noise from the nearby highway can interrupt your peace during quieter nights, and trash around the hotel's garbage area suggests that maintenance isn't consistent.
